I haven’t posted for a little while, so I thought I’d give you all a quick tour of the shop here on Dover Road in Folkestone. And yes — we genuinely have the coolest What3Words location ever: ///pretty.needed.chill No, I didn’t make that up!

I hope you enjoy the video. At the moment we’ve got plenty of new long‑sleeved dresses on the rails, including our best‑selling animal print styles.

The video starts from across the road so you can see the parking situation — there are usually lots of spaces, with one hour free parking literally outside the door. We’re right on the main route toward Dover and Ashford, the A260, so we’re very easy to find.

Inside, the shop is always surprisingly cool compared to outside. I’m not sure whether it’s the thick walls or the retractable blinds, but it stays lovely and comfortable. The lavender‑scented air fresheners help keep it feeling calm and welcoming too.

This quick tour shows the main part of Lacies, Folkestone — including our fishnet and gloves wall, our lingerie and basques section, and our largest hosiery display. We stock a wide range including stockings, Gio fully‑fashioned and seamed styles, and Gio 1940s RHTs. Brand names include Gio (handmade in Derbyshire), Cette, Charnos, and Pamela Mann.

The video finishes with our latest dresses — mainly short eveningwear that suits many customers, including crossdressers, and looks great with high heels and sheer stockings or hold‑ups.
